As a qualified psychologist, specialising in stress, health and performance, I can help you to:
- Improve relationships, reduce self-doubt, reduce stress or reach new levels of performance in professional life.
- To cope with difficult changes in life, such as the loss of a loved one, injury, or relationship breakdown.
- To get ‘unstuck’ from depression, grief or anxiety.
Growth through collaboration
A common motivation not to see a psychologist is the thought that “I can or should do this on my own!” Self-reliance can be seen as a virtue, but all the most significant human achievements happen through collaboration and communication. How many significant things in your life do you hope to achieved as a totally solo effort without any coaching, advice, or discussion with others? Humans are hard-wired to learn and grow through communication with other people.
Don’t underestimate the enormous significance of making a positive change in your own life, such as:
- deepening the love and intimacy in your relationships,
- finding peace in place of anger, fear and anxiety,
- being a great parent,
- exploring new realms of individual or team performance,
- living a life in good health and with great energy.
Life is short, and incredibly valuable, and if days keep going by without things improving, go find help! This is no practice run!
